- It's not the person you defend, it's the process... The heinous nature of the crime is dealt with through the sentencing portion of our Criminal Justice System.. which is at the END of the process AFTER he's found guilty.. not before the trial starts.

- If he's guilty, then punish him, if he's not he doesn't deserve punishment. I'm unsure why it's now "OK" to not have trials which the world court, Geneva, etc etc.. demand and that we have supported and even gone to war with countries that do this sort of thing (Iraq).

- Speculation, seriously people.. the ENRON Loophole has contributed greatly to the increase in crude. It seriously like an auction... people bid for oil and then resell it for a profit and the price only goes up when there is a dependency.
